This 1968 Morris Minor 1000 has been upgraded with front disc brakes, a rev counter and additional dials. This car is considered as a good all round example that drives well. There is a good history file that includes old service and MOT details although it is now registered as a historic vehicle and there is an original workshop manual. In 2006 there was major bodywork repairs including a replacement floor, flitch panels, outer panels and spring hangers. A new brake system was also fitted. The bill came to £4,300 and the repairs has stood the test of time. In 2016 the boot floor was replace and in 2018 the engine was rebuilt with oversize bearings, new pistons, new clutch, trunnion and water pump. The car has been driven on a number of lengthy runs over the last couple of months including from Surrey to the Cotswold's. The paintwork looks fine at first glance, however it is patchy in places ans shows some signs of micro blistering. A great little starter classic for a new collector.
